You should be doing this workout now!!!!!!! for your best body.

Hey Fam and Friends, sorry for the delay but i'm here. i keep having people ask me about the best workouts and what they should be doing to look their best.  Well here it is! this is hat you should be doing and I have %100 percent confidence that you will make insane differences in your body in a short period of time. Big Muscle and Big movements! that's all!

We are going to do experiment. Stop spending  time on all the small muscled and single joint exercises like bi's,  tri's, calfrasies, wrist curls etc.... and just do big multi joint movements that incorporate everything 3-4 times a week.  You will also have more cardiovascular, and muscularly intense workouts, but much shorter ! You goal to get it done not stretch it out.  Try to do you workout as fast as you can with perfect control with the shortest rest.  So be very cognizant of time.

Make sure you have full control and core stability is up to par or start out slower then build up.

Kettlebel swing.
Start out with reps of 20. Start out with a weight to control because it's a lot of work for your lower back and legs. Increase to a weight you handle for only 12 reps!
Dumbbell Press on Exercise ball.
The heaviest you can lift with perfect form to 15reps
Upright rows with the kettle bell.
The heaviest wright you can use for 15 reps with without stopping. no pause between reps

Bentover rows with kettle bell or dumbells. 15-20 reps
The heaviest weight you can handle to 15-20 reps. i prefer you to put your free hand on you other leg and stand squared up.  it put more of a challenge on you abs.
Lunges with your back leg on a bench
20 reps.    Try to deal with the burn and go straight through to 20 reps without stopping. If you lose your balance the rep doesn't count. Don't cheat yourself. Balance and control.

Pikes on the ball.
15-20 reps. Take your body as high as you can and hold at the peak for 3 seconds!
That's it.  Do 3 -4 sets of this circuit.  Make sure to start out with weights you can handle before bumping up the intensity.  Remember the point is to lift the heaviest weights you can handle in successive multi joint exercises.  That also means your body will get very tires.  Make sure you are aslo suplemmenting with Bcaa's and Glutamine.

Try out this workout and let me know how it works for you.  It's guaranteed results.  All the little muscles will be hurting and your arms, legs, chest and back will look insane.

Keep me updated.

What a Saturday!!! Fort Green Festival 6-25-2011 BK Stand up!

There is nothing like the summer time in NYC, and this weekend was definitely one for the books!   I look forward to all the free concerts, BBq's, house parties and picnics that come with summer, and I definitely had more than I could have asked for these last few days. Brooklyn will always be my home borough so I hold a special place in my heart Her. Some may disagree with me but I have always seen Brooklyn as the mecca of culture, in NYC. You ever go to a concert and they ask where Brooklyn's at?  Say no more! Don't get me wrong, I love all of NYC but if you got a problem with it write your own blog! lol

There is a certain pride we roll with.  Anyway, it was the Fort Greene Festival this past Saturday and it was Rammed. Easily 20,000 people of all different background and cultures enjoying themselves to the best music and amazing food from local shops and vendors. One of my Favorite artists by the name of Mos Def was headlining the show and he did not disappoint. He came out with his usual off the wall Bk sh!t that we all came to see and they even took me back a couple of years by having Medina Green on the bill! Medina Green is a group comprised of Mos Def and his brother DCQ and a few other nice Mc's. Here's one of their more notable joints, Crosstown beef.

They took me way back and had me looking for all the old Vinyl I used to have of UTD ( Urban Thermo Dynamics), the original group of Mos and his brother (DCQ) and sister (CES) were in back in the day.  Here is one of their old joint I used to have on burn. Check it out!
"My kung Fu, is the style you haven't mastered",  I Easily listened to this 30 times a day back then in my cassette player with coby headphones. Coby headphones where $5 back then from liquidators! and you had to have a TDK! If you don't know what that is, I can't help you. lol. Just joking, its a brand of cassette tape.
Also Check out manifest destiny by UTD as well.  This is true hiphop man!

If you even dare tell me your a hiphop historian or was down from back in the day and you don't know these joints, I'm giving you the side eye and a funny handshake. lol

A lot of good artists were on the bill such as Res, Rahzel from The Roots fame, Game Rebellion, Navengante and more.  Sonically everything was on point.  One of the highlights of the day was I also got to see my Fellow Temple Alumni, Res destroy the stage. She was bonkers! ....And I mean Bonkerz. Check her out here . She's an awesome talent! New Album on the way.

Another thing I love most about NYC as a whole is you really can't walk more than 20 feet without running into someone you know. That being said, it was like a big reunion. Nothing but good people and fond memories, and a lot of catchin' up with old friends.  Shout out to everybody I ran into on Saturday, that I hadn't seen in a while. You all made the day more special. True words!

Even after the event Fort Greene was on smash because nobody went home. We just all hung and kept it social with all the great restaurants and lounges around. All in all I had a great time and I didn't get out of there till way late in the night!  Now I'm looking forward to next Saturday. I'll holla then. PEACE

Listen, I am just as upset as the next Knick fan,but now that  these stumbling steps are over, we can only look to the bright side.  We can only get better!  Yes, losing is always hard to swallow, but we saw flashes of brilliance in a team that was just thrown together.  Now just imagine what we might be like after a few months of getting to know each other.  Even as I watched the game yesterday and my man Carter came out and single handedly brought us back from the abyss, I realized that these guys just don't know what the hell is going on at times.  they just don't know each others habits and expectations well enough yet.  On the other hand the Celtics were very confident in themselves and each other. We just didn't have that confidence in each other on the court yesterday.  The story may have been different if Mason, Williams, Fields, and Walker got hot like they've done in the past, but it didn't happen.  We got a lot of good looks at the the 3 ball but none really dropped.  It's a shame because just winning one game would have meant the world to NYC.  Look how low our bar has dropped man! lol

We are now in a new era of Knick basketball and we will reclaim our spot as one of the elite teams in the NBA. We have two bonafide superstars in Amare and Carmelo, and a lot of freaking potential and not to mention Mo MONEY!
You know as soon as the buzzer went off the front office went to work to find out what free agents to get in the off season.  We have to look at all the holes in our game and make good decisions, because for the first time in ages we are under the cap and can add at least 2-3 pieces ( players) to the puzzle. I love chauncey but I think physically even he knows it's coming to an end, so we should not extend his contract.  That's even Mo Money to spend.  I Say Mark Gasol  and Chris Paul CP3.  If that happens it's over, and we will be dominant at almost every position.  That's all we need.  Areal center that can block, pass, defend and score, and a dynamic point guard who is a threat. Bingo!

This years promise and disappointed will soon be long forgotten my friends and the true Knicks fans will once again be Envied. It's been a long time but we have earned it!

My show got cancelled and the Knicks were robbed!

Hey ya'll, what a crazy week. First I find out on FB that my show One Life to live is being cancelled and Then my Knicks get shafted by the refs in Boston.  Where's the humanity? lol

Anyway, as many of you  know the iconic show One life To Live has been cancelled in favor of some new and cheap to produce reality shows.  I honestly am just happy I had the opportunity to work on such a historic show and  will always thank the producers, cast and crew for always making me feel at home.  That was truly a dream gig for many of us actors on the soaps and we all hate to see OLTL go.  It's Not just because we are out of a job, but because we no longer get to see all he faces and personalities you grow accustomed to seeing on a daily basis.  It just stinks to find out on FB lol!  There will always be more to come and rest assured that I will keep everybody updated on what I'm up to right here on FB or Twitter @maxtapper.  make sure you follow me to stay informed.  And for all those out there that ask my why Detective Theo Price  hasn't been on in a while, email OLTL at this Email  or call the comment line at (212)-456-3338 and tell them you miss Price and they need to get me on before the show! Thanx in advance.

Anyway, then to top it all of my Knicks get robbed in Boston.  Not cool at all guys.  We all know age is creepin up on you  and your superpowers are not always as reliable as they used to be but don't sleep and think the knicks cant win it.  My deep seeded dislike for Boston was just inherited since I grew up as a Knicks fan in the Pat Ewing Era.  Pat's my favorite player of all time and a fellow Yaard man ( Jamaican). I personally remember the Knicks putting the Larry Bird era to a rest back in the days and it's definitely time for my New Knicks to end this Boston reign.  Yes, I am a knick fan at all costs. They just dealt with some bad karma for a decade after treating P Ewing so bad at the end of his career . These new knicks are definitely gonna make some noise , now and in the future. Lets scrap with Boston, wrap em up, then move on. I must admit though Ray Allen is a beast! I have high hopes for these  guys. Go Knicks!

till next time friends,

What is going on in the world today? This may shed some light.

If you haven't been under a rock for the last couple of years, you have no doubt heard of or experienced  all these earthquakes and tsunami's and dead birds and fish popping up all over the place.  Well what the heck is going on?  There is definitely something changing in the world as we know it and if you choose to close your eyes and ears to the wealth of information out there you will be grossly unprepared for whatever comes next.  We all were given free will for a reason, and the reason is so we can search out the meaning and answers to important questions for ourselves.  Without getting into all the specifics on my beliefs I just wanted  to share an article with you guys that my good friend  passed on to me.  You don't have to believe in it, but you really can't ignore it with all that is happening right now. Hopefully this doesn't offend anyone.

Read this with an open mind. Take note of the date! Think of Japan yesterday, think of the unrest and uprisings in the middle east lately.  This isn't to convince you of anything, but at the least I hope you find it good reading.

Uranus in Aries: The Revolution of Consciousness

The greatest revolution in human history begins March 11th, 2011 with the planet Uranus' entrance into the constellation of Aries. This is a pinnacle moment in human history that will come to be known as the Revolution of Consciousness.

Unlike revolutions of old, this revolution will be centered in the hearts and minds of the men, women, and children that inhabit the planet Earth. What is about to unfold is nothing less than the most brilliant period of not only our lifetimes, but of all lifetimes.

The first 'shot' of this revolution will be a metaphysical one, fired from a Divinely awakened quantum gateway in the heart of the Milky Way Galaxy. This gateway will unleash powerful, higher-dimensional energy that has never before been felt on Earth. This radical new energy will totally immerse the planet, affecting an instant evolution of consciousness in the spiritually awakened; a quantum leap of the mind that has never before been experienced on Earth.

This new level of consciousness, sourced from God, is of course universal in nature. As
such, it will provide the foundation for the acceptance of extraterrestrial life, which brings us to a major aspect of what the upcoming Uranus transit entails: mainstream acceptance of extraterrestrial life. Humanity will soon become intimately aware that not only does extraterrestrial life exist, but it has been influencing events on Earth for quite some time. This singular aspect of the coming Uranus transit alone is enough to exact an instant, global, paradigm shift, and that is exactly the nature of this transit's energy: instant paradigm shift.

Mainstream acceptance of extraterrestrial life will instantly shatter paradigms of the past and create a new way of thinking and feeling in us all. We will no longer accept the artificially-maintained status quo that we have for so long. Exotic new technologies will begin to go public as if a science fiction movie had become reality. Free energy technology will be a major part of this, as well as revolutionary advances in medicine, agriculture, communications, computer sciences, optics, magnetics, and terraforming. This technology will transform the way we live and interact with one another forever.

The coming explosion in technology and innovation will spur levels of humanitarianism the world has never seen. A tremendous global movement to eradicate poverty, uplift the nations, and heal the ecosystems of the world will begin to manifest. Hundreds of millions of passionate, altruistic, like-minded souls will begin to connect, collaborate, and push projects to success that in years past would have never come to fruition. Imagine dormant neurons in a brain, flashing into life and connecting billions of times over until the entire mind is illuminated, totally beaming with light - that is where we are going as a civilization.

I must warn that this astrological movement also signals the beginning of the greatest amount of political and economic turmoil the world has ever known. As a revolutionary spirit inflames the globe, we will experience wide-spread instability, manifesting in a variety of ways. The newly awakened society will begin to revolt in such massive ways that they will absolutely cripple 'the system.' First World nations will be swept with peaceful protests, sit-ins, and demonstrations while Third World nations will erupt with war-like violence. The world over, corrupt government agendas will come to a screeching halt by the will of the people.

Within the first year of this transit as people begin to awaken, it will become understood that the extraterrestrial elements that have been embedded deep in human society haven't been playing a positive role in our evolution as a civilization. This understanding will kindle a united, warrior-like attitude among global citizens that will serve as the most important driving factor in the coming revolution. Make no mistake that the power structure of Earth is currently 'operating from the shadows', but that the time of their authority has expired by Divine Decree and in perfect timing with Cosmic Order.

Intervention has and will continue to happen in strategic, surgical strikes that will ultimately lead to their defeat. This battle will be most intense during the summer months of 2012 as the planet Uranus squares the planet Pluto. By winter of 2012, it will become clear that humanity is free. After December 21st, 2012, as many of the world's most infamous prophecies come to a crossroads, mankind's Golden Age will finally commence.

An aspect of astrology that I find absolutely beautiful is that as events happen on a global or macrocosmic level, they also happen on a personal, microcosmic level - in exact synchronicity. This upcoming Uranus transit is no different, and soon we will all be going through our own personal revolutions, albeit in unique ways, all in accordance with God's Divine Plan for each of us. This is where the Sacred Science of Astrology can enlighten so brilliantly; it can identify the source and the expression of the coming revolutions in our lives, with mind-boggling accuracy.

On a cultural level people will start to openly embrace and seek out the profound wisdom of the Occult Sciences, which are rooted in the higher dimensional nature of existence. People will realize that there is a hidden, perfect order to creation. In times of great change, they will increasingly want to understand, at the deepest levels, exactly what their role is in this perfect symphony that they may navigate through the coming changes and manifest the highest outcomes. The best way to create personal security and abundance during the coming times will be identifying, accepting, and properly expressing one's personal revolutionary energy.

This personal revolution, which will manifest for many as the development of extraordinary, even Biblical-level spiritual and metaphysical gifts, will be the answer to all our present and future problems. It is up to each of us to totally embrace the shocking changes in order to fulfill our destinies in the coming global revolution. Those who succumb to fear and resist these changes will do so at their own peril. Those who embrace the changes will skyrocket to prominence and success. This can be a very frightening thought to entertain, which brings me to the significance of Uranus being in the constellation of Aries, the archetype of the warrior.

Attunement to archetypal energies is an extremely important concept to understand and integrate. In simplistic terms, one must 'vibe' with the virtues of the sign to manifest the greatest outcomes of the transit or placement. With Uranus being in Aries, we can manifest magnificence in our lives by cultivating and expressing bravery, confidence, fearlessness, independence, and novelty in the area of our life (and natal chart) where Aries energy lies. This is a time where a warrior will be born in all of us, though it's up to us to decide what to do with this new energy.

As this fiery, Uranian energy blasts through the collective consciousness, the values of people will be changed and elevated in an instant. The lust for the trivial will be transmuted into the yearning for spiritual and metaphysical talents. Materialism will be replaced by spiritualism. The so-called celebrities of today will fade into obscurity as a new breed of celebrities, deriving their power from spiritual development and humanitarian passion will be catapulted into the limelight. These will be the heroes and heroines of the New Age that is being birthed before our eyes.

The Moon from outside my house and Mike Epps!

What's up guys, sorry I've been on hiatus for so long. A lil less than a month I think. But anyway, I know you guys got to enjoy yesterday (Friday) and that beautiful 60 degree weather, right! It was a nice reminder of what's to come with spring. It was also a beautiful night. That picture is the moon standing in front of my house. The sky was so clear, I was out there in just a long sleeve. So what the hell just happened with today? This is crazy! Cold and windy , one of those good days to stay home. I didn't have liberty to do so but I thought about it all Day. LoL
I end up watching a lot of comedy shows in the winter b'cuz I luv laughing out loud in my living room with my favorite people. My favorite comedian right now has to be Mike Epps. He Is so funny that I slap the couch and run around the house bugging out. I'm trying to get tix to see him at MSG in March. This Guy is instinctively funny and I heard he's gonna play Richard Pryor in the new film coming out. You've gotta look on Showtime On-Demand and check him out, you wont regret it. There should be two shows up there from him. This is definitely rated r humor for the sensitive eared people, but you'll die laughing anyway.
I just wanted to drop by an say hi really. And also give you a few fragmented thoughts of mine! Hope all is well with you all, and I'm back on the blog for those of you that asked. I'm OUT!

I Decides to make some Turkey pot pie tonight, with rice flour for the crust. Gluten free and I'm gonna make them in these personal bowls for 1 serving. Tryna impress my lady!

Ramblings.....U believe in karma?

Hey Friends it's bin a lil' minute. Things are all good, and the year is starting off nicely. I should be going down to Miami next week  for work and i'm def looking Forward to getting out of the cold for a little while. It's the middle of the month and things are just now getting back to normal.  I had a crazy karmic weekend that i wanted to share with you guys, amidst all the other stuff i may talk about.  last friday the sun was out and everybody was lookin cold but Fly in the city. You know my favorite thing to do is walk around the city. i may do 40-60 blocks a day on the normal . i always choose to walk when possible just cuz there's better scenery than on the A train. Anyway i saw two homeless guys at different points on my walk looking really bad and cold to boot. So i reached in my pocket a lil sumthin' Sumthin',  and gave them a few dollars, nothing big and truly i could have spared more. The point was that the first guy almost looked like he was saying "com'on that's it" at first. I had headphones on so i coudn't really hear what he said but his face and body language said sumthin' slick. The second homeless guy said  thanx but he never even looked at me. I am a man of principle, so I almost wanted to take take it back and give him a 1 minute monologue. Anyway I sucked it up and continued steppin' and two hours later I got 2 calls with good new. It was some Karma at work there.  I've always noticed when I do little things for others, even if it's only making someone laugh, I'm always rewarded in some way through out the day.  Just wanted to share that. Helping the less fortunate is easy and it brings good things in your life.

Also i'm still hyped off the Jets Crushin' Brady like that. Go Jets

Be back soon.....

Happy New year Friends! I made runner up for Hunk of the year on Generation Gossip!

Hey guys, Happy New Year.  Sorry I've been away so long.  I Decided to spend most of my time immersed in my family for the holidays.  It was a great time but now i'm back to biz.  The new year started off n a good foot when Edward over at generation Gossip told me I was the runner up for hunk of the year!
Some of you may say Runner up? But the way I see it just being on the list is cool for me . lol.  I'm a modest individual and don't need much to make me happy.

Anyway I just wanted to stop in and Say HAPPY NEW YEAR  to you all! even if it's 6 days late! oops that would be 7 days!

I have a lot of good things going on this year so i'll make sure to keep you all in the loops!

Lata alligataz!
