Pics from the BIBLE exhibition last night in NYC


Hey Friends, I just wanted to share some photos with you from last nights BIBLE exhibition in NYC. For those that don't know, the BIBLE is a new Mini series on History Channel produced by Mark Burnett . It is a new take on a lot of the stories in the bible but done in a more updated and visually stunning way. A nice upgrade from the old Charlton Heston movies i used watch back in Military school.




I stepped out last night with the Homie and Publicist extraordinaire @BJColeman . I Hit the red carpet then on to the Exhibit.   .......All of these pieces in the glass are one of a kind pieces that have lasted thousands of years and were donated graciously by the Green family. The Spot was in The Meat Packing district and was really nicely put together and had the feel of biblical era. All along the walls were pictures of scenes from the series as well as photos of the Characters. Waiters with glasses of champagne and trays of lamb chops and Veggie kabobs kept everybody's energy up .  Not to mention the 2 Ton crown of thorns suspended over our heads to keep us on our toes!.....lol

It was a really cool crowd, and I had the pleasure to meet some Notables. The legendary Dela Reese, Big Grizz from 30 Roc, Kristin Chenoweth , carson kressly from Queer Eye, and Joey Pantaliano from Sopranos  All of them were cool as a fan and very down to earth.

Exercise of the day! - Pull Ups

Hello Cyber friends!.  What a soggy and wet day it is today here in NYC.  Yuck! I can't wait to hit the gym and spark some internal sunshine in the weight room, if you know what I mean! lol . The move of the Day for me is the Pull-up.  Definitely considered the most difficult and effective movement of all back exercises. The Pull up when done correctly requires a plethora of muscles to fire at the same time while continually stabilizing your core and legs. Alongside the bench press and Squat, the pull up has long been considered one of the staple exercises on which your body's true strength is judge.

So, If it's not in your gym regiment you are truly missing out. 
...And being that is is so important, I might as well make sure your doing it right.  I see so many wrong versions of the simple pull-up. There's the guy swing back and forth like a pendulum, and then there's the guy kicking his feet in the air rounding his back, or my favorite, the guy that loves his biceps in the mirror and wont extend his arms much past 90.
There is no glory in doing things incorrectly My friends. 
Don't be one of those guys lol

Doesn't this make you wanna Workout!!!!

Good Afternoon my good people of planet Earth.  Today I have the most overwhelming feeling of happiness and wanting to workout.  I guess it's partly because it's so sunny in my office and it feels and looks like its 70 degrees out. I guess this could all change the minute I step outside.....lol .....but That's how important the sun is for me.

I just need to move today!!

Anyway, I though it would be cool to send you a bit of motivational fitness luv to jump start your day
